Select Similar

Select Similar is an advanced plugin for selecting similar geometry that works in the mode of polygons, edges and also points! This tool will save a lot of your time and nerves and make your work easier! Select Similar implements a smart algorithm that allows you to find all similar places on the mesh and also has the ability to lower the Similarity parameter, which allows you to flexibly customize what you want to see! In case the details in the mesh are absolutely identical, it is recommended to use a tool with 99 or 100 percent Similarity parameter, which will allow you to see everything you need as predictably as possible with one click! In the future are updates planned to improve the performance of the algorithm itself as well as add new functions.

Usage and Parameters

To start working with the plugin, click on the SelectSimilar plugin button. A small window will open where you will see a simelarity slider with percentages and a checkbox to remove the previous selection.
Initially, it is recommended to use the plugin in the 100 similarity parameter. And only if your geometry is not 100 percent similar, then you can release the similarity slider.
